Tena koutou tena koutou tena koutou katoa

Welcome to a new year of learning.

I had the privilege of  being able to welcome new students and their whānau as well as new staff members into our school as part of our powhiri on Monday.

We look forward to having them as part of our Totara Grove whānau.

We also welcome back our existing staff members, students and whānau.

Our focus this term is whanaungatanga which is learning about who we are, where we come from and making connections with others.

On the staff only day we made connections with icons around Whangarei as we visited a number of local landmarks and heard the stories about these places.

Let’s make this term a term of sharing, caring and connecting with each other.
