Tena koutou tena koutou tena koutou katoa
Communication between home and kura is a high priority for us. During the rahui the relationship between home and school was strengthened through regular contact between teacher and whanau.
We really want to keep strengthening this relationship and keeping strong communication links with you.
We have decided that using the Skool Loop app will be the best application for us to use to keep you informed of what is going on at school.
The school loop app has features such as a linking to the school calendar, notices and messages can be sent directly to you, you can report absences, submit school trip permission slips, get the school newsletter and book for parent interviews just to name a few.
As an incentive to get you to sign up with the Skool Loop app we will be putting all whanau who register into the draw to win 1 of 3 grocery vouchers. This will be drawn at the end of the term 🙂
For more information please go to https://www.skoolloop.com/
We hope you will take the opportunity to get the app on your phone (it works on both android and iphone)

After the Covid-19 Lockdown Room 10 decided they wanted to write to our local essential workers to thank them for all they did during this time.
Some wrote to parents who worked through, others wrote to the staff at Countdown, Pak n Save, Doctors, NZ Police and NZ Couriers.
Today we had a visit from Constable Ian and Detective Marion to thank Marnu, Maka, Logan and Jennings for the awesome letters they had written to them. They said the letters were read by many police personnel and had put a huge smile on all of their faces. They were very appreciative of their kind gesture and talked to the children about their jobs during this time.
Nathan and Cael have also received lovely letters from the team at Pak N Save.
Room 10 were very grateful to those people in the community who were working through to keep us provided with all we needed. Ka Pai Room Ten your kind words were appreciated by many.

The football season is due to kick off in the next few weeks. At this stage we will only be starting the 9-16th grades.
The season has been extended and will run into September so there will still be plenty of time for a decent season.
Please note – there will be reduced fees due to the shorter season ( to be advised )
