Tena koutou tena koutou tena koutou katoa

It has been great to see so many parents at the student led conferences. The children enjoy having the opportunity to talk about their learning with you.

Today we farewell Mrs Crawford who has worked in our office for the last 4 years. She is leaving to work in their family business. We wish her well and will miss seeing her at the front desk each day.

As part of the changes at the office the newsletter will now be coming out fortnightly on WEDNESDAY starting on the 19th of August.

We will also be closing down our Facebook page as from tomorrow FRIDAY and using the Skool Loop app for communications.

The winners of the Countdown vouchers for using the Skool Loop app to book their conferences are:

Jordana Schuster
Mariaja Silec
Bertha Myers Pomepi

Congratulations to you all.

Just a reminder that if you have student led conferences today there is soup and toast available in the staffroom for whanau to enjoy.

  Skool Loop App

We have decided that using the Skool Loop app will be the best application for us to use to keep you informed of what is going on at school.

The school Facebook page will now be deleted so please ensure that you have downloaded and installed the App.

The school loop app has features such as a linking to the school calendar, notices and messages can be sent directly to you, you can report absences, submit school trip permission slips, get the school newsletter and book for parent interviews.

We hope you will take the opportunity to get the app on your phone (it works on both android and iphone)

IHAD  Update

Maka, our year 0-2 Navigator resigned at the end of last term to pursue other interests. We are currently working to establish the restructuring of this role and the job description to make it best fit with the needs of the school and IHAD programme. At this stage our intention is to have a new Navigator employed this side of Christmas and have this person up and running for the start of the 2021 school year with our year 0-2 tamariki.

Drop Off Zone

Our drop off zone is well underway and should be ready to use shortly. We will be informing you soon of how this will work.
