Thank you to everyone who helped their children to participate in our recent Wacky Hair Day. It was great to see so much creativity and different hairstyles on the day. The effort that students put into their hairstyles was amazing!! As part of this day we also ran a bake sale to raise funds for our Year 6 camp. Thank you to our Year 6 whānau for their support with this and to everyone who sent along some money to buy food, we really appreciated it. We raised over $500 to go towards extra camp costs which is excellent.
Over the last couple of weeks, our two junior teams have had the pleasure of visiting the Hundertwasser Museum and Art Centre at the Town Basin. Thank you to all of the whānau who came along to help us. Without your help, we would not be able to go on these trips. Next week is Camp Week for our Year 6 students and we are all really excited about this. Lots of thought and mahi goes into preparing for camp and I would like to thank Deanne Heta who is leading this camp for us, as well as the teachers who are supporting her and the huge effort they have all been putting into this. Let’s hope we have great weather next week for our campers!
Have a fabulous week everyone!
